For the first time in the history of the Canton of Zurich, six key legal institutions were led by women at the same time in 2025. The short film Democracy Talk – Law in Focus captures this historic moment and brings the importance of the rule of law, the separation of powers, and democratic institutions into focus. It introduces the people and institutions that stand for justice, freedom, and security, and shows why a functioning rule of law is the foundation of a peaceful and free society.
LAUNCH EVENT AT RINGIER EQUALVOICE
A historic moment for Zurich’s legal system, captured in a short film: Democracy Talk – Law in Focus was launched on March 8, 2026, as part of EqualVoice, an initiative by the Ringier Group dedicated to increasing the visibility and equal recognition of women and men. The images offer impressions from the launch event, capturing encounters, conversations, and guests gathered around the project’s premiere.
